Tournament Recap: 1/14-1/15

The m.71 Rox and m.81 Rox teams played in their first tournament of the season this weekend. Both teams played well making it a great start to the season. 

m.81 Rox: (Midwest Power League) The team went 2-1 on the first day of play. Their one loss was against the #5 overall seed in the MEPL, TI Elite 18 Asics. It was a very close match with scores 23-25, 23-25.  Their two wins included Munciana 17 Cougars (23-25, 25-17, 15-9) and Louisville Volleyball Cub (25-27, 25-18, 15-9). The second day of play resulted in a 1-1 record. The loss was against KVIA 18 Red (21-25, 18-25) with a win against Lexington United Volleyball Club.

m.71 Rox: (Mideast Power League) On the first day the m.71 Rox team started their day off strong by knocking off the #9 overall seed, MAVA 18 Elite in two sets! They finished the day with a 2-1 record. The second day they finished 1-2, beating Kingdon 18-1 and losing to the #1Team Z 18 Orange and Union 18 Adidas.
